My story begins on the east coast, in a cozy wooded area in Western Maryland. I was a rambunctious child, to use a kind turn of phrase, and spent a good deal of my childhood bruising, slicing, puncturing, tumbling, and otherwise doing bodily harm to myself, a lot of which was directed at my cranium. To make an extremely long story short, (I will elaborate more in the coming pages), I gave myself epilepsy, localized brain damage in the ocular nerve center of my brain. (The base of the head above the neck.) Over the course of my life, many obstacles have arisen as a result of my careless childhood. I could reach back in the annals of my subconscious and discover the causes of my injurious behavior but I don't like to pass judgments. One thing I know is that I was allowed a bit too much freedom at times, and as a result I forged new and interesting forays into the creation and maintenance of chaos.
